Under the chairmanship of impact investor Wilfried Gillrath, experts from the renewable energy sector, the energy industry, the IT and start-up sector have gathered around Caeli Wind. They bring political experience, business networks and the concentrated power of an entrepreneurially strong group of investors, who stand behind Caeli Wind with conviction.
Claudia Schlemmermeier, as deputy chairperson, is part of the management team of LBD-Beratungsgesellschaft, a leading strategic consultancy in climate protection and decarbonisation. As a spin-off of LBD, Caeli Wind benefits significantly from the know-how and experience of 30 years of energy industry consulting.
Together, the Board of Directors supports Caeli Wind's mission: to make digitalisation, energy industry know-how and innovation easy to apply, to create transparency and efficiency for decision-making in order to overcome the hurdles in the expansion of wind power in Germany - and to advance the energy transition.

Willfried Gillrath
President
Wilfried Gillrath is a cleantech pioneer and impact investor. As co-founder and CEO of LichtBlick, he championed green electricity and renewable energies. As an investor, he focuses on start-ups that have a positive impact on the environment and society. Steering money flows towards sustainability is his passion.
Claudia Schlemmermeier
LBD, Deputy Chair
Claudia Schlemmermeier has been shaping the LBD consulting company as managing director for over 20 years, accompanying companies into new markets and business areas and advising predominantly on climate neutrality and the heat turnaround and the transformation required for this. Her concern is to make the path to CO2-free living spaces possible.
Alexander von Mellenthin
Alexander von Mellenthin has been active in the venture capital and private equity sector for more than 25 years. As COO of the goetzpartners Group and Managing Partner of Deutsche Invest Capital Partners, he has successfully supported companies and entrepreneurs in developing and implementing business models for a strategically and sustainably defensible competitive position.
Andreas Gnilka
Andreas Gnilka has been working as a management consultant in the energy sector for over 30 years. Until 2017, he played a key role in shaping the successful development of the LBD consulting company. He specialises in the development of strategies and business concepts, especially in energy supply and infrastructure development, and is involved as an investor in the field of renewable energies.
Carsten Dentler
Palladio Infrastruktur GmbH
Carsten Dentler has over 25 years of experience in the banking and capital markets business, including over a decade as a responsible board member, with a focus on the utilities industry, energy generation, transport and distribution and related sectors. Since 2019, he has been responsible for the successful implementation of investments as Managing Partner of Palladio Infrastruktur GmbH.
Hans-Georg von Lewinski
Korn Ferry
For more than 30 years, Hans-Georg von Lewinski has been transforming corporate structures of technology groups and digitising processes. First working as a partner at Accenture worldwide and now at Korn Ferry, he develops talent, organisational and process structures for his clients.
Franz Untersteller
Minister a. D.
Born in Saarland in 1957, married and father of 2 adult children. From 2011 to 2021, the landscape architect was a member of the Baden-Württemberg state government as Minister for the Environment, Climate and Energy. Since 2022 he has been working as a self-employed management consultant.
Malte Eberwein
Malte Eberwein is a member of the management team at Bundesforst, where he is responsible for the production and distribution of forest products in Germany. He works in various committees of the German forestry industry, including the Timber Market Committee and the extended presidium of the German Forestry Council. In addition, he manages the family forestry business.
Volker Maiborn
MaibornWolff GmbH
Volker Maiborn represents on the Board of Directors Twip! GmbH & Co KG, which provides IT services for start-ups with sustainability business models. Since 1989, he has been managing director of MaibornWolff, a digitisation service provider with over 800 employees in Germany, Spain and Tunisia.
